Arrival by public transportation:

From Jakominiplatz: Take bus no. 40 to the final stop Gösting.
From the main train station: take traffic tram no. 7 in the direction of Wetzelsdorf to the Alte Poststraße stop. From there, take a short walk to the Alte Poststraße bus stop and take bus no. 65 to the Gösting terminus.

From Gösting take bus no. 48 to the Thalersee stop.
Take a short walk on the main road past Thalersee in the direction of the golf course. Follow the signs uphill towards the museum, Linakstraße 9.

Arrival by car:

From Wienerstraße, head in the direction of Gösting. Continue past Gösting Castle, carry on to the right following the signs for Thalersee, Ernst Fuchs Kirche or the Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum. Always take the road towards Thalersee/Golfplatz. Past Thalersee, turn right up the steep road to the museum.

Coming over the Steinberg, head in the direction of Gasthaus Dorrer. Opposite the Dorrer inn, take the narrow road to Thal. Then continue past the sports field until you reach the golf course. Pass the golf course and turn left up the steep road. Follow the signs.

Parking:

Dear visitors,

the privacy and well-being of our neighborhood is very important to us.

We kindly ask you to park exclusively in the parking spaces provided for the museum. Alternatively, you can also use the new municipal parking lot in Thal (be.ENERGISED Charging Station, Am Kirchberg 1, 8051 Thal), which is only a short walk from the museum.

From February to October: Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (lunch break from 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM), Saturday – Sunday (including holidays, bridge days and vacations) 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, last admission at 5:30 PM

Winter season

From November to January: Friday – Sunday (including holidays, bridge days and vacations) 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Last admission at 4:30 PM (lunch break from 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM)

*Groups of more than 10 people, students up to 27 years of age, senior citizens aged 65 and over, people with disabilities, people doing military or civilian service, job seekers and FSJ volunteers (voluntary social year) receive discounts with valid proof.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the museum, but they are welcome to wait on a leash in front of the house!
